Desiree was absolutely amazing! I was planning my wedding from out of state and don’t know what I would have done without Desiree! Desiree was in constant contact with me throughout the entire planning process, she offered her ideas and opinions like a friend, she handled communication with my vendors and thought of many details that I overlooked or didn’t even think of.
The weeks leading up to the wedding were so hectic for me and Desiree was the one who kept everything organized, and made sure every single detail was perfectly aligned with my vision for our wedding day. If you're looking for a wedding planner, stop now and hire Desiree, you can thank me later. I hired Weddings to Desire to act as my "day of coordinator" about a month and a half out from my wedding date and the only thing I regret is not hiring Desiree to plan my entire wedding. She took literally every burden that I'd been carrying throughout the wedding planning right off my shoulders and made my day go as perfectly as possible.
We had a boho inspired, casual backyard BBQ style wedding, and I was that crazy bride that decides she's going to do everything DIY because why not, it's not like I had anything else to do with my time as a full time student/employee. So many things would have fallen straight through the cracks without Desiree and her husband there filling in all the cracks with their incredible talents. Our DJ was a total flop - family friend style - and they jumped in and did the music for the ceremony like serious champs.
She took my vision and a picture of my dream arch and created this incredible masterpiece that went way beyond anything I could have imagined, everything was gorgeous. The centerpieces, the TWO wedding arches, the signage and lanterns down the pathway to the ceremony, the DIY macrame and floral hoops hung perfectly in the ceremony and reception, the tables. Due to the DJ situation, they had to juggle a lot, and they did it with smiling faces and willing hearts. I'm telling you now, you won't regret hiring Weddings to Desire, I know I definitely don't!

Desiree helped us with our daughter's wedding. This was our first child to wed and we wanted it to be as amazing and as special as our daughter is. Desiree made it all happen. She gave us ideas and suggestions that we never even thought of. My husband and I were both totally impressed with her professionalism and work ethic. The wedding was two nights ago and we are still getting comments from our guests about what a great event this was. It was everything we wanted for our daughter and son-in-law's special day. It was the perfect romantic start for an amazing couple and Desiree was an integral part of making this happen. Desiree worked very hard to make sure that all of the small details were addressed and that the bride and groom's needs were taken care of as well as the rest of the bridal party. Desiree and her team did day of coordination for my large and traditional Indian wedding. They were on it! She sent me a template for a schedule and was always available for any questions/ a quick chat. She met with me and my parents ahead of time to ensure a smooth day! If there was something I asked her to look out for or take care of, she was on it! They even helped with setting up the reception ballroom as the turnover time was short. She went above and beyond and had a calm demeanor and smile the whole time!
